    Fee Structure, Concession and Scholarship- Flying & Gliding Trainings

    The Haryana Institute of Civil Aviation (HICA) has fixed the following rates for flying training by the flying centres of HICA. These rates will be charged from Pilot/Glider Trainees w.e.f.
    10.10.2008:-

    Scholarship For Private Pilot Licence:

    The above rates are applicable to all Indian nationals domiciled in the State. The concession showed in columns (3) State Govt. share is only admissible to the trainees sponsored by this department who are Haryana domiciled:-

    Admission Fee(Non Refundable): Rs.20,000/-
    Flying Security(Non Refundable): Rs.25,000/-

    Note:

    1. Assistant Flight Instructor Rating: Restricted to a maximum of 15 hours of flying on Pushpak, Swati and Cessna Aircraft and a maximum of three candidates of any category in a financial year.
    2. Flight Instructor Rating: Restricted to a maximum of 35 hours of flying on Pushpak, Swati and Cessna Aircraft and a maximum of two candidates of any category in a financial year.
    3. Accident Reserve fund and overhaul fund as fixed by DGCA in their letter No.AV.2205/29/92 dated 5.10.1994 are to be borne and deposited by the concerned Aviation centre of Haryana Institute of Civil Aviation.
    4. The allotment of Haryana flying quota (concessional flying hours) will be allotted to Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) trainees at the rate of 15 hours per paper of CPL after passing a minimum of two papers subject to a maximum of 90 hours in a financial year and availability of funds and after obtaining Private Pilot Licence or completion of 60 hours of flying.
    5. Keeping in view the revised rates fixed by the Haryana Institute of Civil Aviation the existing policy of this department is likely to be changed with the approval of the Government.

    Night Flying Charges:

    An amount of Rs.1500/- per hour will be charged extra on account of Night Flying Charges if any other flying club is utilizing the night facility at any center of HICA than fixed Charges @ Rs.2500/- per day is also being charges extra (plus Rs.1500/- per hour). The same are being revised to Rs.2000/- per hour subject to minimum charges of 02:00 Hours (i.e. Fixed Night Flying Charges @ Rs.2500.00 per day waived off). If the Hostel facility is also utilized then peroccupant @ Rs.200.00 per day will be charged. (Boarding & Lodging arrangement will be made by then at their own level.).
